General News: Local Dancers to Perform in County Festival

Step it Up Productions Dancers

March 20, 2013

The Orange County Arts Council will hold its annual All County Dance Celebration on April 28th, at 3pm at the Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center, Sugar Loaf to coincide with National Dance Week. Orange County dancers, choreographers, dance companies and dance studios have been invited to participate in this one day performance. The event is sponsored by TD Bank and Stewarts Shops.
The All County Dance Celebration gives dancers who live in Orange County an opportunity to perform in a County-wide show that will increase their visibility to the general public and provide an opportunity for self-expression. All pieces presented will be choreographed and performed by artists living or working in Orange County. The Orange County Arts Council hopes that by bringing dancers from all areas of the county together for one single performance, collectively they will demonstrate the beauty and artistic merits of dance and encourage the community to see local dance as a true art form and become more involved in the arts.
The Orange County Arts Council invites all supporters and dance appreciators to join us as we celebrate dance as an art form and raise public awareness of the artistic beauty, local availability and fundamental benefits of dance. Tickets are $15,general admission and can be purchased by calling the Orange County Arts Council at 845-469-9168 or by emailing [email protected]. The following participants will be performing:
