General News: Couple Wins Dream Wedding

A dream wedding will come true for Eileen Bellew and Kevin Houston, whose story of love lost then found again won the most support in the Hawaiin Dream Wedding contest on the Live! with Kelly show.
The couple found out they won the popular vote during the broadcast of the show on Monday evening and a February 20th wedding in Hawaii is planned.
Eileen, who is from Pearl River, and Kevin, who is from New Windsor, told of how Kevin, a West Point graduate, cared for his wife of 21 years until she died in 2009, leaving three children behind. Eileen’s husband perished while on the job as a New York City firefighter and she was left to raise her four children alone.
Two years ago, the couple met one another and discovered that they could both love again. The couple was engaged last May.

Congratulations, I do not know either person but of course I know Kevin's story. A dedicated husband, father, community involved, and lastly a great athlete. My recently deceased friend Dan Sullivan would be so happy to see this news!
