General News: Summer Camps from Cornwall Recreation

Soccer Camp
Dates: June 27 - June 30
Time: 9:00am-11:00am
Ages:  6-10 boys and girls
Cost: $75 per child (includes a t-shirt and ball)
Location: Laurel Crest Park
Learn basic soccer skills and the game of soccer with director, Kristen Bidosky.   Please bring your own water bottle, snack, shin guards and cleats.  


Kicks

Dates: June 29 - September 2 (Wednesdays and or Fridays)
Time: 10:00am-12:00pm
Ages:  9-15 boys and girls
Cost: $30 per session (sign up for 6 sessions get the 7th free!)
Location: Donahue Memorial Park
Wear bathing suit and shoes that can get wet.  Don't forget to use sunscreen and bring a water bottle.


KinderKamp
Dates: Session 1 (July 5 - July 22)  Session 2 (July 25 - August 12)
Time: 9:00am-12:00pm (Monday-Friday)
Ages: 3,4, & 5 boys and girls not yet in kindergarten
Cost: $170 per session/child (Maximum of 40 in each session)
Location: Town Hall Park
Games, swimming, crafts and many more activities with Director Connie Freeman.  Please bring a copy of your child's current immunization records to be kept on file.  We cannot enroll your child without a copy.


Summer Camp
Dates: Session 1 (July 5 - July 15)  Session 2 (July 18 - July 29)  Session 3 (August 1 - August 12)
Time: 9:00am-1:00pm or 9:00am-4:00pm
Ages:  Children entering 1st grade - 8th grade
Cost: Town Resident 9am-1pm $130 (per session)
                                 9am-4pm $228 (per session)
            Non-Resident   9am-1pm $210 (per session)
                                        9am-4pm $368 (per session)
*You will receive 10% off when registering for all 3 sessions*
Location: Lee Road School
Campers enjoy crafts, games, sports, swimming, optional field trips, talent show and much more with director, Kathleen Hand.  Must have at registration:  Two proofs of residency, updated copies of immunization records for your child to be kept on file.  You will not be able to register without the above requirements.  Maximum amount 180 campers PER SESSION.  Registration deadline is June 10th.  There will be no switching of sessions after the deadline date.


Track and Field Camp
Dates: July 11 - July 14
Time: 6:30pm-8:00pm
Ages:  8-12 boys and girls
Cost: $60 per child (please bring your own water bottle and proper running shoes)
Location: Cornwall Middle School Track
The camp focuses on improving running, speed and endurance.  Helping your children to plan their own summer fitness with weekly meeting days.  The camp includes proper warm-ups, stretching and running form drills.  An introduction to hurdles, long jump and triple jump will be done with director, Dave Feuer.


Tennis Camp
Dates: Session 1 (July 11 - July 15)  Session 2 (July 18 - July 22)  Session 3 (August 1 - August 5)
Time: 9:00am-12:-00pm
Ages:  6-14 boys and girls (maximum of 20 per session)
Cost: $80 per child includes t-shirt and tennis balls
Location: Town Hall Tennis Courts
Learn basic tennis skills and the game of tennis with director, Michael Miller.


Basketball Camp

Dates: July 11 - July 15
Time: 9:00am-11:00am
Ages:  6-9 boys and girls 
Cost: $80 per child includes t-shirt and basketball
Location: Town Hall Courts
Learn basic basketball skills and the game of basketball with director, Matt McGinnis.  Please wear proper sneakers and bring a water bottle.
