The contributions that America's diverse cultures have made to the country’s history is the theme of new books recently received by the Cornwall public library as a result of a “We the People” Bookshelf Grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and the American Library Association (ALA).

“A More Perfect Union” is the theme of the 2010 NEH grant and the books purchased range from When Marian Sang: The True Recital of Marian Anderson by Pam Muñoz Ryan, a book for early readers, to Killer Angels by Michael Shaara, a book about the Civil War for readers age 15 and older.

Below is a list of all the books that are currently on display at the library and are available for borrowing:
