The farm stand on Main Street opened Friday evening, bringing fresh fruit and vegetables to town for people to enjoy the early summer harvests of local farms.
The carnival began pulling into the village on Sunday, with amusement rides packed on the back of trailer trucksthat will transform the playing fields behind Cornwall-on-Hudson elementary school into the annual Storm King Fire Engine Co. Fair, which is set to open on Wednesday.
The folks at 311 Hudson Street brought live bands and the YWCA’s Women Work program to the village, when it opened the building's back lot to the public on Sunday.
People brought picnics and chairs to relax on the front lawn of Cornwall Town Hall on a delightful Sunday evening, where the music of the Bluesmatic band entertained the crowd in the golden evening sunlight.
