UGH!!! So THAT's what has been holding up availability of FIOS in the Village??? Come on folks - let's get on the ball. What's the issue with granting this? I already have FIOS for internet access. Why can't I have it for TV?

We've been waiting for over a year for FIOS TV to come to the village. We took our satellite dish down when we had our new garage built, thinking FIOS was coming soon. No TV for a year now and the library is running out of DVD's. I hope the village takes action soon.

I've just sent Joe Gross an email asking about this. Perhaps if others would do the same he'll do what it takes to make this happen? Glad to see I am not alone in wanting this. I know from many I've talked to that there a LOT's of village residents who want to make the move to FIOS and have been waiting and waiting. I thought the delay was on the Verizon side of things. But when I got FIOS Internet that no longer made sense. This explains it. What I don't understand is why HAVEN'T they approved the agreement? Perhaps there are reasons we're not aware of? But it doesn't make sense to me.

I just wanted to let folks here know that I recieved a response from Joe Gross. He said he was first approached by Verizon about the franchise for COH about 2 month ago and that approval is in the works. FIOS TV should be available from Verizon by August. Woooo whooooo!!!!
Way to go Joe! Thanks
