General News: Girls Varsity Volleyball Team WIns

The Cornwall girls varsity team scored a victory in its first game of season, winning 25-7, 25-10 and 25-12 against Sullivan West.
Every team member played well and contributed to the strong performance. Key plays were Karin Edsall - 3 aces, 9 kills, 3 digs; Rachel Zsido - 3 aces, 7 kills, 9 assists, 2 digs ; Samantha Kelly - 13 aces, 3 kills, 20 assists, 1 dig; Justine Duryea - 5 kills; Jordan Berman - 4 kills, 2 blocks; Alex Gagliano - 4 kills, 2 blocks; Jess Williams - 3 kills. Team totals: 23 aces, 36 kills, 29 assists, 1.8 passer rating, 16 digs, and 4 blocks.
