General News: D4 Dragons Head to Superbowl

The D4 Cornwall Dragons defeated the Minisink Warriors 12-8 to advance to the Orange County Youth Football League Superbowl.
Offensively, Alex Cruz scored a rushing touchdown and threw a touchdown pass to Luke Zsido. The offensive line, led by Chris Clark, Dom Biolsi, Hunter Miseracas, Nick Davis and Pat Landro, won the battle in the trenches, opening holes all day. Mike D'Esposito sealed the win with a key run on 4th and 3 late in the 4th quarter.
Defensively, the Dragons were led by Justin Hines, James Faller, James Parisi and Liam Hatch. Faller had a key interception late in the game.
The 9-1 Dragons will play the 8-1 Washingtonville Wizards on Sunday November 23rd at Michie Stadium, West Point for the Orange County Youth Football League Championship. Game time is 5 p.m.
