General News: Donahue Memorial Park Closes for Hospital Gala
Guests will dine and dance under elaborate tents

The village of Cornwall-on-Hudson is closing Donahue Memorial Park on Saturday, September 9 beginning at 8 a.m. to allow workers to prepare for the St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital Gala to be held at the riverfront on Saturday night. The park will reopen on Sunday, September 10.
The hospital holds its annual fundraising gala at different locations in the area each year. It was held in Donahue park in 2003.
The gala is the most important fundraiser of the year for the hospital. It has raised about $200,000 a year for the past two years.
