General News: Major Softball Team State Runner-up

The girls major softball team fell to Staten Island, 6-5 after 9 innings on Wednesday evening in the state final playoff.
The girls were amazing throughout the season and played with great dignity and perseverance.
Thank you to all of you who came out and stood along the fences, bleachers and ball field to cheer on these wonderful girls. You all shared a role in making this season more special for the team. We truly appreciate it. The girls are truly proud to wear the Cornwall green!
