General News: Major Girls Advance in State Playoffs

Cornwall won the first round of the State Final Four, defeating Syracuse Geddes 2-1 on Saturday in Brewster.
Allison Scott was the winning pitcher. Syracuse Geddes play strong against Cornwall all 9 innings. Yes, 9 innings!!!
Cassie Browne was 3 for 3. Allison Scott smacked in an RBI and Ally Galati drove in the winning run sending Cassie Browne home.
The girls play Staten Island tomorrow, Sunday, 7/22 at 3:30pm in Brewster.
