The Collective rocked the crowd |
July 16, 2007
About 200 people, mostly teenagers, converged at Cornwall Town Hall last Friday evening for the band concert sponsored by the town recreation department.
Teens sporting mohawk haircuts mixed with a variety of young people who came curious to hear the bands. The second band, The Collective, played a set of alternative metal music that was surprisingly good for the first public appearance of the band made up of Mike Kussman, Chris Kehoe, Joe Rotolo and Mike DiPerro.
The next band, A Fragile Tomorrow from Montgomery, was waiting in the wings to go on. Just as The Collective finished its set, the skies opened up and the rain came down. The town hall was open for fans and musicians to take cover but the wet weather never let up enough for the remaining two bands to perform.
