General News: Green Dragon Podcast Debut

Cornwall Dragons sports fans have a new place to go to listen to the latest news about their favorite Cornwall high school teams.
Starting this week, Coach Kroemer hosts a podcast that is posted at the Cornwall schools website that brings scores, upcoming games and in-depth interviews with some of the great coaches and players in the Cornwall Central School Athletic department.
The 20-minute podcast is produced like a real sports newscast, with music to introduce the segments and a lively format.
In this week’s podcast, Coach K talks with varsity swimming and diving coach Guy Maisonette, who talks about his own sports background, which included a college rugby career, and how his three daughters led him to swimming and diving. You can also hear from coach Rich Miller about the prospects for the varsity soccer girls team, which is defending its District 9 championship title.
Finally, varsity football head coach Marcus Hughes talks about the players in the line-up as the season gets underway, what teams they look forward to facing and plans to go to the state finals this year.
