The Cornwall United U11 girls have finished their season 17-1-1. This capable group of girls has been able to meld nicely and have grown significantly since 2005.
Under the guidance of head coach Kelli Brown and the direction of their Quickstrike trainers the team has taken two tournament titles and finished the year 17-1-1.
U.S. Women’s National player Brittany Taylor has been working with the group along side Jesse Kolmel and the Quickstrike program. Despite the vigorous workout and strenuous preparation involved, the girls eagerly await each training session to see what Brittany and Jesse will teach them. Before each game you could hear the girls yell their mantra, “100 for sixty!” The girls promised each other, their coaches and trainers that they would play at 100% for 60 minutes every game. Nothing less.
The team has added two new players to the fall roster that further strengthens its strong base of players. Many of the girls are attending soccer camps and programs over the summer in preparation for their upcoming fall season as U12s in a higher division. Coach Kelli and the girls are looking forward to the challenges of the next season.
