May 22, 2007
An accident on Broadway in Cornwall Monday afternoon resulted in the driver of one of the vehicles losing her hand and forearm.
Lori Noller, 33, of Cornwall, was driving on Broadway toward Willow Avenue when a car driven by Miguel Peralta failed to stop at the intersection of Broadway and Bridge Street and hit the rear of her Noller's mini-van
Cornwall police chief Todd Hazard says the impact caused Noller’s van to hit the curb and spin around, then roll over.
Noller was evacuated to Westchester Medical Center via a helicopter that landed on the playing field at Willow Avenue school.
Peralta, age 44, from Cornwall, was charged with failing to yield.
