General News: Modified Softball Team Wins Two

The Cornwall modified softball team has established a record of 2-0 in non-league play since early April.
On April 8, the team defeated their opponents from Goshen with a score of 19-4. The winning pitchers for Cornwall were Allysa Bua and Cassie Sterm. The team saw excellent defense by Kim Terrizzi.
The next day, April 9, the team went on to another win, defeating Monroe-Woodbury by a score of 10-0.
Emily Casey pitched an outstanding game. Key offensive hits were provided by Allyssa Bua, Kim Terrizzi and E.M. Darcy. Z. Martellaro and Sami Birmelino were excellent on defense.
