General News: Teen Fined in Fire Department Case

The teenager arrested in an incident of underage drinking at the Storm King Fire Engine Company in December pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of disorderly conduct Wednesday evening. Christian Benson, 19, of Cornwall-on-Hudson was ordered to pay a fine of $100 and received a conditional discharge.
The arrest of Benson in February 2007 came after an investigation by the New York state police into an incident at the firehouse on December 24, 2006. He was initially charged with serving alcohol to a minor, a misdemeanor.
