In the wee, wee hours of Easter morning, a gentle snow blanketed the village of Cornwall-on-Hudson. When the sun rose, a white dusting remained and outside a house and a restaurant on Hudson Street, signs of a nocturnal visitor. Read on to learn what was found.
Dear Neighbors:
You can forget a lot in 365 days.
Like about the first time the “Big Bunny” came to our house on Easter morning 2006.
So you can just imagine our surprise and joy when we awoke this Easter morning to discover that the Big Bunny had returned – and left a decorated egg right there on our porch.
The proof of this remarkable reappearance? Big Bunny’s footprints clearly marked for all to see on the sidewalk in front of our home.
Well, we won’t forget a second time.
Next year, on the Saturday evening before Easter 2008, we’ll leave a glass of milk and cookies for the Big Bunny.
Gee, we hope he (?) likes milk. We know everyone loves cookies.
