A field covered in snow can be a vision of beauty, as local photographer Charles David Winchell knows.
The cold, bare earth of winter is hard and uninviting to the human eye. A coating of white brings softness and invites you to linger awhile.
Winchell, who notes that Cornwall has not gotten its fair share of snow this winter, waited for a snowfall, then went out and took these images of places we see everyday, transformed by nature.
