General News: 14-Year-Old Arrested in Burglary

Cornwall police arrested a 14-year-old boy in the burglary of a home on DiMiceli Street on Wednesday.
Police chief Todd Hazard said that the burglary and theft of $200 in cash and some DVDs occurred at 2 p.m. on Wednesday while the homeowner was at work. When the homeowner returned home and discovered the burglary, he contacted police.
Police officer Stephen Bedetti followed up on a lead from the owner, which led to the arrest of the 14-year-old.
The juvenile was processed as a juvenile delinquent and released to his parents to reappear in the Orange County Family Court.

Thank god for Officers like Stephen Bedetti who although is only a part-timer, has been blessed with enough common sence to solve crimes in our town.
