Local photographer Tom Doyle calls this a "lucky" shot taken after a snowfall in late December.
Many of Doyle's photographs, including a stunning one taken shortly before sunrise at Cornwall landing, are shot after careful study of the scene in various lights throughout the day.
This photo was taken on a private road just north of Moodna Creek where Doyle just got lucky and found all elements for a great photo.
