Each year the Music and Art Departments at the Cornwall Middle School share a night filled with their talented students. Along with the musical sounds that resonate from the auditorium, the community can also feast their eyes on the artistic creations displayed throughout the front lobby and hallways.
The Winter Art Show highlights the first semester art students in the fifth through eighth grades. The displays include 5th grade drawings of Winter Landscapes, Outdoor Figure Activities in Collage by the 6th grade, 7th grade designed Paper Quilled Snowflakes and 8th grade printed Winter Word Illustrations.
As part of the collaboration between the Music and Art Departments, art students were asked to design the cover of the music program.
Congratulations to the top five choices for the 5th and 6th graders for their wonderful drawings depicting the theme of Winter and Music.
The exhibit will be on display through the beginning of January.
