General News: State Police Arrest Suspect in Under-age Drinking

The New York State Police have charged a Cornwall-on-Hudson teenager with unlawfully providing an alcoholic beverage to a person under 21 years of age, a misdemeanor.
The charge against Christian Benson, 19, stems from an investigation into allegations of underage drinking at the Storm King Fire Engine Company on Christmas Day, 2006.
State police investigator Michael Drake says Benson was arrested on February 9th and was scheduled to appear in court in the town of Cornwall on February 14th. That date was postponed because of bad weather to March 14th, according to the court.
The full report of the investigation is expected to be completed later this month.
