General News: Middle School Chorus at Munger Cottage

For the third straight year, middle school students brought some Thanksgiving cheer to Munger Cottage on Monday.
A group of senior citizens and other local residents gathered for the afternoon concert where the eighth-graders sang “Written in the Stars,” “My Grateful Spirit Sings,” “I’m Grateful” and “Take a Breath.”
Choral director Valerie Ransbottom accompanied the singers on piano and then encouraged the students to go out and mingle with the audience. Music in hand, the young singers lead the seniors in a sing-along then sat and chatted with them after the concert.
