General News: Veterans Asked to Share War Experiences

Do you or someone you know have a war story that you’d like to share with future generations? Veterans of the armed services as well as those on active duty and civilian support personnel are invited to videotape their recollections of their wartime experiences on Veterans Day, Monday, November 12, at the National Purple Heart Hall of Honor, in New Windsor.
The Hall of Honor is teaming up with Regional News Network (RNN-TV) and the Veterans History Project of the Library of Congress to record the video interviews that will be archived by the history project.
Interview appointments can be scheduled between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm by calling (845) 561-1765.
