General News: Town of Cornwall Debuts New Website

The town of Cornwall unveiled its new website last month, featuring a new look and a new address, www.cornwallny.gov. Town supervisor Richard Randazzo said that it was 'more appropriate' for an official website to end in "dot gov," although the site is still available at www.cornwallny.com.
The site features the meeting dates for the town board, planning board, and zoning board through 2007, along with information about garbage and recycling schedules and how to request vital statistics from the clerk.
"We are looking to expand it," Randazzo said. "We will have minutes of the town board, the planning board and the zoning minutes." He added that schedules of events sponsored by the town recreation department will also be included as the site develops.
During the administration of supervisor Jim Sollami, the town site was called "ilovecornwall.com."
