Thank you for covering the New Year's Ball dropping in the village. I believe it is one of the events that helps to make our community more cohesive and adds to the charm of our village. Lest we forget, the idea for the ball came from Nicky Correa. In the interest of full disclosure, my son, Chris Garti, fabricates the numbers each year as he did for the Times Square ball (see NY Times, 12/31/94)in his original career.
