Letters to the Editor: Vote Yes for the Cornwall Library referendum

To the editor,
We are strongly in favor of the Cornwall Public Library referendum. We have been frequent users of the library for many years and have seen the value to the community increase with time. Maintenance and improvements to this valuable resource are required to insure that the library will be able to meet the future needs of our town.
Since a number of necessary improvements to the library building are required, it is common sense to make the other improvements at the same time. Library users are well aware that more space and meeting rooms are needed to accommodate the many important programs and to maximize the use of this vital public space.
We encourage all residents to vote “Yes” for the Cornwall Library referendum on Nov. 18.
