Dear Editor,
On behalf of the CDA, Court Rita, #264, in Cornwall-on-Hudson, we wish to extend a very heartfelt thank you to all those who helped make our Tricky Tray this past Saturday, November 15th, such a great success. As anyone knows, it's not the work of one or two people, but the concerted efforts of many who work behind the scenes to guarantee that everything is done as it should be and when it should be. First of all, a big thank you to the Court Rita Tricky Tray Committee members who expended their time, energy, dedication and devotion towards making this year's event so successful. Of course, the Junior Catholic Daughters were phenomenal in assisting us. Many thanks also is extended to the members of Court Rita who brought their basket donations to grace the tables.
With that said, we'd be remiss if we didn't thank all those other individuals who made this year's Tricky Tray a memorable, and we hope, pleasant evening for all. The people who donated beautiful gift baskets are Mr. and Mrs. Peter Russell, Mrs. Kevin Hines and Dr. Stein, D.D.S. Generous gift certificates were given by businesses in Cornwall and Cornwall-on-Hudson and they are Village Pizza, Prima Pizza, Hudson Street Hair Company, Peggi's Place, and Ikaros Diner in Newburgh.

The Knights of Columbus were our "knights in shining armor" setting up the tables and chairs for us the night before the event. Peter, a tireless worker at the Parish Center, made sure everything was shining and spotless, Mary Ann, a most accommodating lady in the Parish Center Office, was so helpful and Marjorie, our wonderful Parish Secretary, helped us in many ways.Our thanks, also, to Dominick Forte who was so generous in setting up and loaning his speaker system for the evening.
A special thank you, coupled with our gratitude, goes to Angela of Giftworks in Cornwall-on-Hudson for also making our Tricky Tray a success. By her patient guidance and generosity of time and materials, we produced beautiful baskets.
In closing, our appreciation to all those who attended Tricky Tray this year. We only hope you had as much fun and enjoyment in participating as we had in putting on the event.
