Arrests
06/12/19 Desean M. stevens. age 29, of Newburgh, NY was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant from the town of Cornwall.
Incidents
Police issue approximately 12 warnings and 11 summonses to drivers including warnings and summonses issued for parking at the riverfront without a permit and warnings and summonses issued during a special traffic assignment.
06/11/19 Police respond to River Ave for a hazardous situation with a ladder on wires.
06/12/19 Police take a report of a vehicle accident with no injuries.
06/14/19 Police take a report of a bear sighting on River Ave.
06/14/19 Police respond to a vehicle accident on Rt 218, a truck hit a guard rail while turning around.
06/18/19 Police respond to the area of Willis and Weeks for a report of a bicycle vs car accident. A subject attempted to avoid the vehicle and crashed into the yield sign.
06/22/19 Police assist a driver locked out of his vehicle.
06/22/19 Police and multiple Fire Depts respond to the river for a reported sinking vessel, boat later found near Bear Mountain bridge.
