Arrests
09/18/18 Jason K. Walther, age 36, of Blooming Grove, NY was arrested and charged with criminal possession of controlled substance in the 7th degree as well as having an outstanding bench warrant.
09/18/18 A 55 yr old male from Highland Falls, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree.
Incidents
Police issue approximately 14 warnings and 7 summonses to drivers including summonses for parking at the riverfront without a permit including tickets issued during a special traffic assignment.
09/17/18 Police assist a driver with a vehicle lockout on Grandview Ave.
09/17/18 Police remove rocks and tree limbs from Dock Hill Rd.
09/19/18 A Post Master’s tooth was chipped when a resident’s dog jumped up on her.
09/21/18 A caller reported low hanging cable wires on Holts Lane. Cable company notified by dispatch.
09/22/18 Police assist lost pedestrian and drive him and his kids and a dog back to his vehicle.
