Arrests
07/12/18 Jonathan H Lander, age 25, of Highland, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree, unregistered MV and no/exp insurance.
07/18/18 Nicole K Purdy, age 23, of Cornwall, NY was arrested on a warrant.
07/18/18 Charlie Rey Velez, 20 of Modena, Ny was arrested and charged with suspended registration, unreasonable speed and no/exp insurance.
07/20/18 Jeffrey P Bennett, age 50 of Pleasant Valley, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 2nd degree and speeding in a posted zone.
07/20/18 A 22 yr old male from Middletown, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree.
07/21/18 Martin J Sauer, age 71, of Campbell, Hall, NY was arrested and charged with soliciting without a license after he was told he couldn’t sell corn in an area on Rt 32.
Incidents
07/09/18 A caller reported receiving harassing phone calls after she spoke to a phone scam caller.
07/11/18 A caller reported that a dog on Deer Hill Rd approached him in a threatening manner.
07/14/18 A caller reported a trespass complaint. A realtor went to a vacant house to do a showing and found a male and a half dressed female inside the home doing a photo shoot.
07/16/18 Police and Cornwall Fire Dept respond to a fire on Rt 32.
07/18/18 A caller stated that 2 dogs charged her dogs in her yard and that this is an ongoing problem. Police responded to the owners of the 2 dogs, found them unlicensed and that the owner had a warrant out for her arrest.
07/20/18 A caller reported that a large bear was walking down Dragon Dr.
