Arrests
11/07/17 A 32 yr old male from New Windsor, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree.
11/11/17 A 21 yr old male from West Point, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree.
11/17/17 A 28 yr old female from Newburgh, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree.
11/17/17 A 26 yr old female from Newburgh, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree.
11/22/17 Khali M. Henry, age 20, of Newburgh, NY was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant.
Incidents
Police issue approximately 29 warnings and 19 summonses to drivers including summonses for parking at the riverfront without a permit.
11/07/17 A complainant reported larceny from a mailbox.
11/08/17 A dark colored Pit Bull dog was found at a residence on Mountain Rd and transported to Woodbury Animal Shelter.
11/08/17 Police respond to 374 Hudson St for a report of graffiti on gas pumps.
11/09/17 Police respond to Storm King School for a report of a male student missing from his dorm room. The student was found in the girl’s dorm room.
11/10/17 A caller reported finding a Husky rolling tool bag.
11/11/17 Police assisted a driver locked out of her vehicle.
11/13/17 A caller reported fraud. A credit account was opened in his name.
11/13/17 Police move a tree branch off of Spruce St.
11/15/17 A caller from Homeland reported a noise nuisance of a barking dog let outside by a neighbor every morning before 8am.
11/15/17 A caller reported that 2 religious people were knocking on doors. The subjects were advised, moved on their way and informed of the solicitation law.
11/1717 A caller reported identity theft. His SS # address and a credit card were opened and changed without his consent.
11/19/17 Police respond to Hudson St to a report of an injured deer and dispatch the deer humanely.
11/21/17 Police assist with a 2 car accident on Academy Ave.
11/22/17 Police respond to Academy and Curie rd for a report of something burning and find 2 juveniles with a small campfire. Fire extinguished and subjects were advised.
11/23/17 Police respond to Lafayette St for a report of a deer that died on a deck. A hunter shot the deer on Camp Olmstead property and the deer took off. Police checked the hunter’s license and other information and it was valid.
11/26/17 Police respond to Boulevard to a report of an injured deer and dispatch the deer humanely.
