Library Foundation Holds Chalk Art Contest
Cornwall, NY – The Cornwall Public Library Foundation is pleased to announce the prize winners of the 2nd Annual Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest held on Saturday, July 23, at the Cornwall Public Library. A total of 38 contestants participated, including 6 family groups.
First Prize Winners received $50.00:
Under 11: Darrin Wilkinson
12-17 years: Katelyn Lipton
Family: The Rourke Thomas Family
Second Prize Winners received $25.00:
Under 11: Ellahni Criss
12-17 years: Madeline Camo
Family: Maria Urena & Family
The following artists received Honorable Mention:
Under 11: Haley Wilkinson; Emily Rostanzo; Emma Vink; and, Joseph & Abigail Murphy
Family: Olivia, Max & Erin Sistro
Local artists Barbara Gioia, Paul Gould and Jackie Skrzynski were the judges.
The Cornwall Public Library Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 organization whose mission is to promote the Cornwall Public Library through fundraising as well as the acquisition of major gifts, corporate sponsorship, endowments, grants and bequests.
