General News: Rollover Accident on 9W South

A single vehicle rollover motor vehicle accident occurred at approximately 7:50 am this morning, March 3, 2015 in the southbound lane of Route 9W prior to the border of the Town of Highlands. There were no reported injuries by the driver of the vehicle and traffic was backed up for about an hour. The Town and Village of Cornwall Police, New York State Police, Cornwall Fire and Cornwall EMS responded. Officers were in contact with the TMC to change the Southbound sign to indicate Accident Ahead. Traffic was restricted to one lane and allowed vehicles to slowly pass the accident.
