Art at the Cornwall Town Hall
Watercolors and pastels by Artist, Nita Klein, who finds abundant inspiration in the natural beauty of the Hudson Highlands. Her original pastels watercolors and acrylic paintings have been exhibited in a wide range of venues both local and national, including Palisades Interstate Park, Hudson River Valley Association, Museum of the Hudson Highlands, Marymount College, The River Gallery and many others.
She has won awards, including the 2006 Orange County Arts Grant and Her painting of a pear recently appeared on the cover of Valley Table Magazine. She enjoys being alone in her home painting, soaking up the quiet and the view out of her window. She cautions that artists should only work when they are in a good mood and judging by her daily routine, she never lacks what she needs to paint.
Nita's artwork can be seen in the town hall board room June 10, 2014 thru July 31, 2014 weekdays between the hours of 8:30-4:30pm.
