The World of Bees Exhibit

The Hudson Highlands Nature Museum presents The World of Bees exhibit at the Museum’s Wildlife Education Center, 25 Boulevard, Cornwall-on-Hudson.
This exciting exhibit features a live colony of honeybees in a thriving observation hive and many interactive elements including hive cells for children to crawl through and large replicas of bees and their young! Come learn about the fascinating life cycle of the honeybee, its colony structure, social hierarchy and importance to our own lives. In celebration of this two day grand opening, activities will include: games, crafts and refreshments.

The Wildlife Education Center is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12pm-4pm with Meet the Animals at 2:30pm on Saturday and Sundays.

I have a wonderful photo of my husband at age 12 or so painting a honeybee. He was one of the founding members of this museum over 50 yrs ago!
