Breast Cancer Education Program

Cornwall Library, St. Luke’s Co-sponsoring Breast Cancer Seminar
CORNWALL – Cornwall Public Library is partnering with Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital to host a free seminar and discussion, “Beating Breast Cancer,” presented by MSLC Radiation Oncologist Dr. Shana Coplowitz. The program will take place at 1 p.m. Oct. 11 in the Library’s community room.
Dr. Coplowitz, who is the medical director of Cornwall Radiation Oncology Services, will provide education on the latest advances in breast cancer diagnosis and treatment. She will also present information on screenings and resources. The program is timed to coincide with Breast Cancer Awareness month, which is in October each year.
