Nature Museum hosts Full Moon Hike
Cornwall, NY- On Saturday, August 29, from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum will be hosting a Full Moon Hike at the Museum’s Outdoor Discovery Center, on Muser Drive, across from 174 Angola Road, Cornwall. Enjoy the trails before sunset and watch the moonrise over the fields at the Outdoor Discovery Center. “August is the month of the Full Sturgeon Moon,” said Environmental Educator Lisa DiMarzo. “Some Native American tribes knew that the sturgeon of the Great Lakes and Lake Champlain were mostly caught during this full moon.” Bring a flashlight and dress for evening. For adults and families with children ages 7 and up. Admission: $7/Adults - $5/Children. Museum Members: $5/Adults - $3/Children.
