Resume Building Workshop

Cornwall Public Library has a series of Career-Building Events planned for April and May, 2014. They are partially funded by the New York State Library’s Adult Literacy Services grant program administered by the Ramapo Catskill Library System (RCLS), of which Cornwall Library is a member.
RESUME BUILDING WORKSHOP – Tuesday, April 22 – 6:30 to 8:00 PM
The 90-minute session will be used to build a dynamic resume that will provide results. A professional career counselor will focus on developing a resume that describes achievements and skills, and identifies marketable traits.
ONE-ON-ONE CAREER COUNSELING – 30-Minute Sessions – 5:30 to 7:30 PM
Monday, April 28 – Wednesday, April 30 – Tuesday, May 6 – Monday, May 12
Counselors will help assess needs, skills and interests plus answer career questions. They will guide participants through a step-by-step approach to a job search, re-entry into the workforce, or rebuilding a resume.
