County Plant Sale at Arboretum

May 13, 2017 —May 27, 2017

Three fundraising plant sales at Orange County Arboretum set for May

Goshen, N.Y. – The Friends of the Orange County Arboretum will be hosting their annual fundraising at the Kosuga Greenhouse on May 13th, May 20th and May 27th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.

You can bring mom to the May 13th “Mother’s Day Plant Sale” where she will have an opportunity to choose from an amazing selection of gorgeous plants including hanging baskets, annuals, sun and shade perennials, herbs, non-GMO tomatoes and an expanded assortment of succulents. Feel good about your Mother’s Day gift knowing that the proceeds from your purchase will benefit the stunning public gardens at the Arboretum.

The May 20th “Spruce it Up Sale” will also offer a large assortment of planting material to beautify your landscape. Customers will have the added bonus of being able to “design your own planter” at any one of the three sales. Bring in your favorite pot or container and our talented volunteers will arrange and plant your purchases at no extra charge (there is a nominal fee for soil).

Don’t miss the May 27th “Final Day” because this sale is your last chance to buy our healthy and beautiful plants grown right at the Arboretum greenhouse under the care of our dedicated volunteers. At each sale you will find lots of knowledgeable volunteers on hand to help you with your selections whether you are a novice or an expert gardener. The Friends only accept cash or personal checks. All funds raised at the sales are used to help our “gardens grow” and to offer educational programs for children and adults throughout the year.

The Arboretum is located within Thomas Bull Memorial Park and is most easily accessed from the Grove St. entrance to the Park off Route 416. Be sure to visit us at
