On Saturday, June 8 at 10 a.m., come to the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum’s Outdoor Discovery Center, on Muser Drive, across from 174 Angola Road, Cornwall to learn about Bugs. Spend the morning with environmental educator Alicia O’Connor learning about the loads of Stink Bugs, Lady Bugs and Grubs we see everyday. Meet live Bugs. “Lady Bugs are very beneficial to gardeners as they eat drop-damaging aphids,” said Alicia. “The marmorated stink bug was accidentally introduced to Pennsylvania in the 1990’s and has become a widespread pest.” After the program take a short hike with Alicia in search of bugs at the Outdoor Discovery Center. This program is for adults with or without children, and children ages 5 and older. Admission: Adults/$7, Children/$5 Museum Members: Adults/$5, Children/$3.
