Have a Beary Merry Holiday with the bears of Bear Mountain! On Saturday, December 22, 2018 bring the family to Trailside Museums and Zoo at 10:30 AM (rain date Sunday, December 20th) to make tasty holiday snacks for the black bears.
At 11:00 the holiday celebration will be in full swing when they unwrap their gift boxes full of delicious holiday treats. You’ll also discover how the rest of our native animals prepare for winter. The zoo and park are beautiful this time of year, so take advantage of the day to stroll the nature trails and explore our museums.

Parking at Bear Mountain State Park is $10.00. Admission to Trailside Museum and Zoo is free, however donations are happily accepted. The Zoo is open daily from 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
(Closed Thanksgiving & Christmas Day) Bears go off exhibit at 4:00 pm.
