Sustainability Summit

On Tuesday, March 9 at 7:30 a.m., the Orange County Chamber of Commerce presents a Sustainability Summit at Mount Saint Mary College.
To help businesses and homeowners understand more fully how to become energy efficient. Gay Browne, founder of Greenopia (a national directory of eco-friendly retailers, services and organizations) will give keynote address. Sessions on “Education and Training for Sustainable Careers”; “Ecological Living and Slow Food”; “Energy Conservation for Home and Business”; and “Green Energy.” Hosted by the chamber in conjunction with the Mount, Orange County Association of Realtors, Orange County Citizens Foundation, Orange County Partnership, Orange County Planning Dept. and SUNY Orange.
The event, which begins with registration at 7:30 a.m. and concludes at 2 p.m., will be held at the Kaplan Math, Science and Technology Center at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh. Entry is $25. For information, visit orangeny.com or call Roseann at 845-457-9700.
