He writes that he took them after he drove up Mine Hill Road where there seemed to be a line drawing across the road and landscape. Below the line everything seem normal but once you crossed that line heading up the mountain you enter a different world. The ice was so heavy on the trees they either bowed over or the trees came crashing to the ground, on houses as well as across roads and over power lines.
“The destruction left me in awe but the beauty left me amazed,” he wrote.
