Tom Doyle described how he took this photo at Jim's Pond in the Black Rock Forest Preserve:
"This is the third fall that I have gone to Jim's Pond and the first time I got something worth a look. I particularly like the direction, color and 'hardness' of the light in this shot. The sun is low in the sky and to the left front, this back lights the leaves especially the red tree in the left midground. In addition the water is smooth and mirrors the colors."
