Arrests
07/01/18 Christopher J. Miller, age 55 of Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY was arrested and charged DWI and resisting arrest.
Incidents
Police issue approximately 17 warnings and 30 summonses to drivers including summonses for parking at the riverfront without a permit including tickets issued during a special traffic assignment.
06/25/18 A wallet was found on Idlewild Ave and retuned to its owner.
06/25/18 Police investigated theft of service. A subject called in an order for 2 pizzas and did not pay for them. Police identified the subject who said he would not do it again.
06/25/18 A subject reported identity theft. A credit card was opened in the subjects name and charges were made to the card.
06/25/18 A subject called to report that she found a bug in her coffee that she purchased from a store.
06/25/18 A caller reported that at a property she watches, a male and female are stealing items off of the front porch.
06/26/18 A caller reported a family of bears in the callers driveway on Maple Rd.
06/28/18 Police found a dog on Duncan Ave. and returned it to its owner.
06/28/18 Police and SKFD respond to a false alarm fire on Mountain Rd.
07/01/18 Police respond to Hudson St for a 2 vehicle accident no injuries.
07/01/18 Police assist Town Police with a serious motorcycle accident on Rt 9W.
07/02/18 A caller called and reported that she hit a parked car on maple Ave.
07/03/18 A caller reported a 3 vehicle accident on Rt 9W NB.
07/05/18 A caller reported that she found a white 2.4 ghz drone in her yard. The drone was placed into the evidence room.
07/06/18 A caller reported that 4 kids aged 5-6 yrs old were hitting the gazebo with sticks. Kids were playing music with sticks. Kids advised and complied. No damage to gazebo.
07/07/18 A caller complained that several vehicles were blocking Cherry Ave and fire trucks would not be able to get through if there was an emergency.
07/08/18 A caller reported that a tree limb fell and was blocking Grandview Ave. DPW was contacted for tree removal.
