Arrests
05/12/18 Aleza A Morgan, age 20, of Cornwall, NY was arrested on a warrant.
05/12/18 Nicholas W Fasano, age 30, of Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 2nd degree and unlicensed driver charge.
05/18/18 Amber M Oconnor, age 23, of New Windsor, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree, unreasonable speed and a motor vehicle violation.
05/14/18 Tyreik R Washington, age 21, of Newburgh, NY was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
05/25/18 Ahmad Masood, age 52, of Central Valley, NY was arrested and charged with 2 counts of DWI.
Incidents
05/07/18 A sanitation worker was bit by a dog while working.
05/08/18 The high school reported an unruly female but then separated the student from the other students before Police arrived.
05/08/18 Police assist town of Chester Police with a report of an active shooter at Chester Academy.
05/08/18 Police respond to Rt 32 for a report of an obstruction blocking the road and remove a dead raccoon.
05/09/18 Police dispatch an injured deer humanely.
05/09/18 Cornwall FD dispatched for a transformer fire in the rear of the Post Office.
05/10/18 A bicycle that was sitting in front of the library for about a week was taken to the Police barn for storage.
05/12/18 Police dispatch a raccoon humanely which was hit by a vehicle.
05/12/18 A caller stated that her cell phone and purse was stolen and located her phone using find my iPhone. The location pinpointed it was at an apartment in New Paltz. The Police advised her to call State Police.
05/14/18 A resident from Beakes Rd reported the a dolly was taken from his driveway.
05/15/18 Police take reports of several trees and wires down in roadways due to the storm and a tree on a house.
05/16/18 Police respond to a motor vehicle accident and property damage on Rt 32.
05/16/18 A dog was hit by a motor vehicle o Rt 32. The owner was located and would take the dog to the vet.
05/18/18 Police respond to a 2 car motor vehicle accident on Overkill Rd.
05/19/18 Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Rt 9W. A driver lost control of the vehicle and made contact with a tree and a wood sign.
05/20/18 A caller reported to Police that he sideswiped a vehicle on Main St.
05/21/18 Police take a report of larceny from a home on Sundown Rd. Four rifles were stolen from the garage.
05/22/18 A customer at a business on Quaker Ave left her purse at a business on Quaker Ave. Police located the owner of the purse and returned it to her.
05/23/18 A complainant came in to the Police Station and stated that her Amazon credit card was used in a fraudulent manner and 2 gift cards were purchased on the card.
05/25/18 A complainant stated that she was followed by a vehicle while walking her dog on Poplar St.
05/26/18 A subject reported a possible robbery, stating that his cousin was walking to CVS to commit robbery because he had no money to get back to the city.
