Step It Up Summer Stage will close its seventh season with musical comedy The Addams Family, Friday and Saturday, August 11th and 12th at 7pm at the Walter Reade, Jr. Theatre at Storm King School, Cornwall on Hudson. The Addams Family musical finds beloved little Wednesday Addams all grown up and in love with a boy from an Ohio family. The story takes place when the iconic Addams Family welcomes the conservative Beinekes to dinner. Wednesday and Lucas, individually aware and embarrassed by the idiosyncrasies of their respective clans, have each begged their families for “One Normal Night”, exposing a central theme of the show: Define Normal.
Direction is by Karen Eremin and T.J. Larke, choreography by Montana Nogrady and Nina Johnson with musical direction by Max Finkelstein. Tickets are $15.00 and may be reserved by calling 534-3645 or purchased at the door on show nights. Seating is general admission.
