Arrests
01/04/17 Reidavid Beliard, age 22, of New Windsor, NY was arrested on a bench warrant.
01/08/17 Michael R Tracey, age 36, of Modena, NY was arrested and charged with DWI.
01/09/17 Teresa L Wright, age 34, of Cornwall, NY was arrested for assault in the 2nd degree after it was alleged that she struck a female in the head numerous times with a wine bottle.
01/11/17 Jason K Walther, age 35, of Monroe, Ny was arrested and charged with petit larceny after video showed the subject taking cash from a cash box at Cumberland Farms on Rt 94.
01/13/17 Sean M Pascoe, age 38, of Washingtonville, NY was arrested and charged with DWI and an equipment charge.
Incidents
01/02/17 A caller found a tan female dog with white markings possibly a pit or pit bull mix on Rt9W. Dog transported to Woodbury Animal Shelter.
01/05/17 Police and fire dept respond to Howard Lane for an electrical fire, power was cut off to light fixture.
01/05/17 A caller complained that 2 individuals were attempting to sell vacuums while looking inside her apartment and that they only had pamphlets. Two males were located and moved along.
01/06/17 A caller reported that there were 2 men in the cemetery on Orrs Mill Rd banging on something. The men were pouring a footing for a headstone.
01/08/17 A caller from Orrs Mills Rd reported criminal mischief to their property. Skid marks were found going into a rock wall and damage to the wall was noted.
01/08/17 A caller stated there was a female in the laundromat that smelled of alcohol and got into her vehicle and left.
01/09/17 A truck struck a tree and a central hudson pole whichs napped in 1/2. Police. fire dept and COVAC responded. Unknown injuries to the driver.
01/09/17 Police respond to a 1 car rollover on Rt9W, no injuries.
01/09/17 County reports car vs deer accident on Orrs Mills rd, no injuries to the driver.
01/10/17 A car went off the Rd on 9W and struck a tree.
No other information reported.
01/10/17 Officers respond to Lee Rd to assist with a lockdown drill.
01/11/17 A vehicle lost control on Mineral Springs rd due to icy conditions and struck 2 trees.
01/12/17 Town Buildings and Grounds dept reported that 3 storm windows at the Girl Scout cabin and 1 dome that covers the Sands Ring basement window were damaged sometime over the preceding weekend.
01/13/17 A caller reported that a car hit a parked car in front of his business on Main St.
01/14/17 Two separate car accidents without injuries were reported on Rt 9W and Mineral Springs rd.
01/15/17 Police respond to a car into house accident on Rt 32 with injuries.
